Description

CCIM combines features of library, bookshop and Centre of Culture. It is a friendly and lively space; place of exchange of thoughts and information; place of interaction. The building complements frontage of the street and refers to the urban context. The form of frontage improves the building’s visibility. The facade is a geometric composition of glass and concrete. It enables the outer and inner space intermingle. Mediatheque  consists of 5 levels with different character, transparence and accessibility. Interior inspires people to interprete the space on their own. Multiangular central atrium, covered with a glass roof , changes its shape on each level. It integrates the interior and makes it brighter.  What is more, mediatheque offers facilities like conference hall, small cinema, kid’s space, language rooms, bookshoop as well as Tourist and Cultural Information.
